An important featherweight bout will be taking place at Bellator 276 on March 12. Inside St. Louis’ Family Arena, Mads Burnell and Adam Borics will fight to potentially determine the next contender for the Bellator featherweight title.
Burnell made his pro debut in 2013 and joined Bellator in 2020. Burnell is 3-0 with the promotion, his last fight being a win over Emmanuel Sanchez in July. With nine wins via submission, Burnell sits second in Bellator’s featherweight rankings.
Borics made his pro debut in 2014. Joining Bellator in 2017, he went 5-0 with the promotion before losing to Darrion Caldwell in 2020 in the quarterfinals of the Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix. He has since won three in a row, his last bout against Jeremy Kennedy in April 2021.
