SPRING, TX – Jan. 5, 2022 – The Spring Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at the Gordon M. Anderson Leadership Center, 16717 Ella Blvd. To reduce the risks associated with COVID-19 and to ensure public access, the meeting will also be streamed via Zoom.
The agenda includes a review of items that will be presented to the board for approval at the regular board meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, also to be held in person and streamed via Zoom.
Presentations of note on Thursday include the Education Planning Guide for the 2022-2023 school year, and an overview of the District of Innovation renewal process and authorization of a Renewal Plan Development Committee.
The board is also slated to consider approving the 2022-2023 Instructional Calendar as recommended by the administration, approval of the proposed interlocal agreement with Lone Star College System – Lone Star College North Harris, and approving the Second Resolution providing additional leave time due to COVID-19.
Other topics on the agenda include the consideration and possible action to name a lone finalist for the position of Superintendent of Schools; taxpayer refunds; and a review of the report of cooperative purchases exceeding $50,000. See Full Agenda.
