The first opportunity for high school prospects in the Class of 2022 to lock up scholarships and formally sign National Letters of Intent began Wednesday morning and will last through Friday during the early signing period. A vast majority of the top players in the class are expected to lock in decisions by Friday. But just one day into the action, there’s already been a great deal of unexpected movement to shake up the board.
No. 1 overall recruit Travis Hunter shocked the country by flipping from Florida State to HBCU Jackson State, a coup for Deion Sanders in his second full recruiting class with the program. Elsewhere, Texas A&M has suddenly made its case for the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation with Wednesday commitments from four blue-chips. Georgia and Alabama, meanwhile, also added multiple top-100 players in their respective bids for the No. 1 ranking.
CBS Sports and 247Sports have been with you throughout the day providing live updates and analysis in the story below. Keep it locked here for an updating schedule of commitments, the newest recruiting rankings and much more as the day unfolds.
