Through 3 Quarters
The point spread is against the Charlotte Hornets, but thus far the points are on their side. Sitting on a score of 90-82, they have looked like the better team out there today, but there’s still one more quarter to play.
The Hornets have enjoyed the tag-team combination of shooting guard Terry Rozier and point guard LaMelo Ball. The former has 22 points along with four rebounds and two blocks, while the latter has 19 points and seven assists in addition to nine boards. One thing to keep an eye out for is Nick Richards’ foul situation as he currently sits at five.
The top scorer for the Indiana Pacers has been shooting guard Caris LeVert (19 points).
Indiana has lost 93% of the time when they were down heading into the fourth quarter this season, so this one seems just about wrapped up

Meanwhile, Charlotte took their contest against the Houston Rockets on Monday by a conclusive 123-99 score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Charlotte had established a 96-70 advantage. Charlotte’s shooting guard Terry Rozier was one of the most active players for the team, shooting 7-for-12 from downtown and finishing with 27 points and five dimes.
Barring any buzzer beaters, the Pacers are expected to win a tight contest. Those playing the odds have seen things go back and forth with Indiana, who are 17-17 against the spread.
Indiana’s defeat took them down to 14-20 while Charlotte’s victory pulled them up to 18-17. Allowing an average of 116.31 points per game, the Hornets haven’t exactly asserted themselves on the defensive end. We’ll see if they can patch up the holes in their defense before their upcoming matchup.
