SARASOTA, Fla. — Dr. Stanley Arthur Williams, age 78, of Sarasota, Fla., passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2022.
He was born July 2, 1943, in East Liverpool, to the late Arthur and Vida Williams.
Stan was raised in northeast Ohio, where he graduated from Hayesville High School in 1961. He then attended The Ohio State University, where he completed both his undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees, resulting in his lifelong loyalty to the Buckeyes. Stan owned his own dental practice in Newton Falls until 1990, when he and his family relocated to Sarasota, where he continued to be an avid investor. Stan enjoyed biking, reading, sports cars, men’s fashion and traveling with family. He had fond memories of trips to Kiawah, Nantucket, New York City, France, Italy and Disney World. He was passionate about education, encouraging achievement not only for his daughters and grandchildren, but also for many close family members and friends.
