Niles police are seeking the public’s help identifying suspects in the armed robbery of a gaming cafe on Golf Road Sunday morning.
Police said a man entered Tracy’s Gaming Cafe at 8600 Golf Rd., at 9:33 a.m. Sunday, and gave an employee a handwritten note demanding money. Police said the note threatened to shoot everyone if demands were not met and said the suspect displayed a silver handgun. Police said the employee gave the suspect $1,125 in cash and said he fled the business.
The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male, 5-ft. 8-in. to 5-ft. 9-in. tall wearing a blue cap, green hoodie, grey sweatpants, white sneakers, and a facemask, weighing between 200 and 210 lbs.
Police said two other patrons were in the cafe at the time of the robbery.
The robbery remains an open and active investigation. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Niles detectives.
