Arkansas travel agent says spring break plans are in high demand

Looking for a getaway trip this spring break? You may want to book now because a local travel agent told 40/29 News there is a high demand for travel this year.Tracee Williams with Destinations said most Arkansans have booked reservations a year ago.With covid-19 altering vacation plans for many travelers the last two years, now more than ever, Arkansans are booking get away trips for spring break.Williams said Europe is now on travelers radars after some covid restrictions have been uplifted.If you’re booking last minute, she said there are still destinations available domestically. “We still have some folks who travelled last year 2021 for spring break. But not to the degree we have this year, we have two years of vacations where people have booked and rebooked, booked and rebooked,” Tracee Williams, Travel Agency Manager for Destinations said.Wiliams said as she is booking travelers for spring break, she said it’s also difficult to find flights from NWA.“We are looking for destinations leaving from Tulsa, Dallas, St Louis. Just anywhere in this area, Tulsa, Joplin, Fort Smith about anywhere we can find seats.
